Tony’s Life Journey
Tony Rhoton – Life Coach/Mentor
I have been helping individuals struggling with pornography addiction since 2006. Through this process of helping a lot of others find healing, I realized there was a tremendous need for women. Tony continues to help men, women and now he’s added couples to his list of clientele.
I realize how important unified, loving, and caring parents are to children and to having more joy in this life.Tony Rhoton
While he still helps men & women struggling with porn, his focus is on helping individuals increase their confidence to achieve their goals and accomplish their dreams.
He’s NOT a therapist, he is a mentor and engages with you in a process of healing by using solid principles and his understanding of the brain. Tony helps you to let go of the past negative thoughts, feelings and beliefs, so that you feel empowered for what lies ahead.
As your mentor, he encourages, supports, empowers and helps you achieve more than you thought possible. Tony works with you to identify which direction in your life will give you purpose, joy, and hope.
With a powerful mentor, you will move forward much quicker in life.
Always Serving and Helping Others
As far back as Tony can remember, he has been helping others. He would help teachers at school, not because of being rewarded, but because he wanted to help them have a good day. He was trusted and looked to as a resource for finding joy in life.
Tony recounts a story that was told to his mother from Mr. Cox one of Tony’s 5th Grade teachers.
“Lorna, that’s my mom’s name, I have to tell you something about your son. He is the most trustworthy young man that I know. I could give him one million dollars and ask him to take it somewhere, and I wouldn’t worry. I know every cent would get there.”
Tony recalls after hearing this story; it strengthened his resolve to always have the highest integrity and never discredit his families name.
Magnet for Communication
“I was like a magnet for people talking to me. Everywhere I went, even at work with people I didn’t know, they would start telling me their problems, challenges, and struggles.”
A saying he would hear regularly was,
“I don’t know why I’m telling you all of this but I feel like I can.”
“It made me feel fantastic. I had a purpose from a very early stage of life.”
“I would have girlfriends call me up and ask if they could talk. I would just listen to what they have to say and then speak. I rarely remember what I said, but they would always say, “Thank you. I needed that.”
From an early age in his life, Tony has always tried to help everyone he comes in contact with. Of course, he was still a boy and caused mischief or unfortunately would do some mean things. He remembers one instance where he teased a kid.
This Event Changed His Life Forever
“I was 12-14 years old, and I remember playing basketball with this kid. He was a new kid, and I remember saying mean things to him while playing basketball. I saw how it hurt him and vowed I would never intentionally hurt another individual.”
After this experience of being mean to the kid mentioned above, and making a resolve never to hurt another person, Tony felt a magical force pulling people into his life. Tony continues,
“My family would come to me. Friends would come to me; strangers would even start telling me things. They looked for my guidance in helping to sort out problems. I guess I had a lot of wisdom for my age. I would listen, comfort, and empower them. I would not judge them. I would encourage them by letting them know that I was there for them and they could always talk to me.
If you ask my older brothers though, I was a pain in the butt. I’m not perfect. :)”
He says with a laugh.
After graduating from college, Tony started working for different graphic design companies and then in 2000, he started his own marketing and design company. He based his business principles on promoting the company, not just a product.
He witnessed company after company succeeding, which helped him gain confidence and trust in what he was doing. Then in 2006, Tony was introduced to InnerGold, an organization that helped porn addicts.
He was approached by a friend to see if he would be willing to help InnerGold spread their message worldwide.
“I agreed to look at the company, and I said if I like it, I’ll help. If I don’t like it, I won’t. I looked it over and was blown away. The information that was in the manuals was something we all need, not just addicts. I was hooked. Immediately I started helping InnerGold become a brand worldwide. I watched people’s lives change, and I noticed a spark ignite within myself to help more and more people struggling with porn addiction.
However, Tony’s path was not to stay there; his partnership dissolved and he co-founded a new clinic, Utah Family Therapy, with a different business partner. Utah Family Therapy started out with helping teens and young men struggling with porn, and now it has grown into a systemic family healing approach focusing on healing the root of the problem, trauma.
“I kept witnessing people finding tremendous healing, and the flame that ignited with InnerGold has become a raging furnace.
I love helping all of the people at Utah Family Therapy. I’m the behind the scenes guy, business and marketing strategy. Occassionally, I will answer the phones too, and I love it. I help the individuals calling in on the phone, feel hope.”
After answering the phone and hearing how so many people wanted help but just couldn’t afford it, Tony decided he would start sharing his knowledge with the world to help more people find hope and healing, so he started a Facebook page and Facebook Group, ‘Getting to the Roots.’ His passion continues to grow, and that’s why he decided to leave his marketing and design firm and start mentoring and coaching women.
When asked why do you want to mentor women he said,
“If I can help the women find hope, value, and purpose in their life, this will help their family. As I mentor mothers, I have seen their entire family change. I believe this is a critical part to stopping teen suicides because moms have a tremendous effect on their children.”
Tony is continually looking for ways to help women find value, hope, and purpose in this world so he speaks regularly to empower women in different organizations. He looks forward to helping everyone he meets find hope and realize they are amazing. In his seminars, he shares actionable steps for improving life, while enjoying the journey.
You’re amazing, believe it; I’ll show you how!
You will come away feeling hope for the future and actions knowing how.
